Son of Chucho Valdés and grandson of Bebo Valdés, he blends Afro-Cuban jazz tradition with a modern, virtuosic, and deeply rhythmic approach. He has received 7 Latin Grammy nominations and major recognition within the Latin jazz world. His style fuses bold improvisation and impeccable technique.

Rita Donte
Cuban singer and songwriter born in Havana, she radiates a magnetic stage presence and a deep voice that connects instantly. Self-taught and based in Mexico, her sound blends jazz, bossa nova, bolero filin, and Afro-Cuban roots with powerful naturalness. In Ritual, her latest album produced by Gustavo Guerrero, she traces an intimate journey between Cuba and Mexico: organic, unembellished, rich in tradition and risk. Her phrasing evokes both legacy and present with a clear, sensitive, and grounded identity.

B-Soul is a band born in Los Cabos, created by its leader and founder, Alex Blumenkron. They deliver a vibrant sound where funk and soul meet a fresh and powerful identity. Made up of musicians from different regions of Mexico, now based in Baja California Sur, the group builds a high-energy show full of groove and a strong connection with the audience. On this occasion, B-Soul presents a tribute to James Brown, celebrating his legacy with intensity and respect.

Monique is an Australian singer and songwriter who transforms sensitivity into honest music. Her sonic universe blends jazz, pop, and R&B, with an identity shaped between intimate clubs, theater, and vocal harmonies. From a childhood marked by introspection, she found in music her own language. But it was on the beaches of Baja California where her creative voice fully took shape.

exploration. Their journey has taken them across local stages and major festivals, consolidating a solid, dynamic, and authentic proposal. Today they remain active in Los Cabos, delivering performances full of sensitivity, interaction, and groove. A project that doesn’t just play jazz—it lives it and expands it with personality.

El Diego Ramírez Trio
The Diego Ramírez Trio brings together three distinct musical paths into a compelling and vibrant jazz project. Officially formed in 2024, the group grew from the lifelong connection between Diego Ramírez and Bobby Nelson, later joined by Iván Lee in Los Cabos in 2020. Their debut at the San Jose Jazz Weekend marked the beginning of a rising trajectory. Drawing inspiration from McCoy Tyner, Charlie Haden, Ornette Coleman, and Brian Blade, the trio crafts a unique sound that blends contemporary and traditional jazz with musical roots from the United States, Mexico, and Argentina. Currently, they are preparing to record their first album in April 2026.

GAMA Quartet
A contemporary jazz ensemble that explores sound and collective improvisation without limits. Led by drummer Adrián Gamarra, the group brings together musicians from different cultures and generations, creating an open, deep, and constantly evolving proposal. Without bass or double bass, the ensemble redefines traditional roles and builds a flexible language where each instrument interacts with freedom and sensitivity. Their music connects with modern and European jazz, combining textures, introspective atmospheres, and moments of intense interplay. Blending original compositions with improvised developments.

Pianist, arranger, and artistic producer with a prolific career featuring over 50 recorded albums across a wide spectrum of musical genres. As both a performer and a director, he has shared the stage with an array of international artists, balancing his time between live performances, studio sessions, and film scoring.
His work as an educator and instrumental arranger is complemented by a strong presence on the global stage. He has been a recurring guest at major Jazz, Tango, and Rock festivals worldwide, with extensive tours spanning South America and Europe.
